Having the ability to check in on your assets while you’re away from is a major benefit to having a quality surveillance system in today’s age. Here you will be shown how to set it up yourself. (These directions work for setting up a tablet, as well) There is no limit to how many devices you can use.

Note: You will need the correct parameters to enter later on, so before you begin, you will want to make sure you’re prepared with that information. Use the form at the right(or bottom on mobile) for assistance, if needed.

Another note: I use Android, but Apple is very similar. I will add any differences in brackets.

Step 1: First, open up Google Play Store(Or the App Store, for Apple devices). Type "IVMS 4500" into the search bar.
Step 2: Tap Install. Wait on the screen while it works.
Step 3: Tap Open.
Step 4: Tap Deny when it asks for this permission, as we will not need the features that are associated with this one.
Step 5: Tap Allow for this one.
Step 6: Tap where it says "Region".
Step 7: Tap Canada.
Step 8: Tap Enter.
Step 9: This is the main screen, where your cameras will appear, once we have set things up. Tap the icon circled in blue in the top-left corner.
Step 10: Tap Devices.
Step 11: Circled in Red is a default Camera that shows up, as an example. To get rid of it, Press and hold within the red circle.(Or on Apple devices, swipe within the red circled area. Tap the Delete button that appears.)
Step 12: When this box appears, let go and then hit where it says "Confirm".
Step 13: Tap the "+" icon circled in blue at the top-right corner.
Step 14: Tap Manual Adding.
Step 15: Tap inside the circled area.
Step 16: Tap IP/Domain.
Step 17: Carefully enter the correct information. (Again, please contact us using the form on this page if you need help) Tap the Save button in the top-right corner, circled in blue.
Step 18: If you entered the information correctly, the number displayed by Camera No. will display the correct number of cameras on your system. Tap Start Live View, circled in red at the bottom. Your cameras will populate the screen.
