This guide will show you how to export clips from your Network Video Recorder. If your recorder doesn't look the same as these photos, you may be using a different firmware. Use these steps to help you:
Right click on the screen, enter your password if asked, click OK, and then compare what you see with the 3 below images. Click on the image that matches what you see, and you will be brought to the correct post.

Step 5: This is where you select the cameras that you would like to obtain footage from. Follow this link to learn how to differentiate which cameras are which.

Step 20: While the exporting process takes place, you’ll need to follow this post – it will walk you through downloading the necessary video software that you’ll need in order to view the files. (It’s important to do this before handing off the USB stick to make sure that the correct files were selected.)

Step 22: Once the files have been transferred, you can just go ahead and unplug the USB stick. Plug it into your computer now, and open My Computer(or Finder on Mac), select your USB device, and go into the folder you had created. Drag the files into VS player to test a couple.
**IMPORTANT** – Whoever you give this USB stick to will also need a copy of the VS player software, or else they will not be able to view the files.
Send them this link so that they can also download the player.
Alternately, you can drag the file from Step 1(on the linked post)directly onto your USB stick..here is a short clip showing this process.
Note:It is shown here on a Mac, but the process is identical on Windows. Just drag the file into the USB stick, in the folder containing your video clips.
